This collection is US centric so American names and images are given priority above international counterparts. Obviously this means the starting point was Evan Amos's photos and THK's logos, but I used many other sources as well and quite a few of the logos were just not available in decent quality online so I actually made a bunch of both company and platform logos by hand. I went with a "nebula" style background since it seems like that's what kids are into these days and searched for high quality assets. I used the LB platform list as a starting point and branched out from there, covering every platform I could think of, and made a few up for my own use. Started a project a while ago to create a complete set of stylistically coherent banners. A few more of the collages (mostly pinball) were sourced off the interwebz. Most of the backgrounds used are from the Platform Box Art Collages/Contact Sheets created by A few of the collage backgrounds (Bally Astrocade, Jukebox, Music, Music Videos and Movies) were created by me. Most of these were created with the White Trim - Platform Clear Logo Set by A very good clear logo set I might add. If you find yourself creating more to fill in any that I've missed (and I've missed plenty I'm sure), please share them in the comments and I will add them to the archive. I have included the template and some instructions (Gimp). These were created with the Vertical Aspirations theme in mind, but they can be used anywhere a generic platform marquee is needed. These are some alternate marquees I made for platforms.

Platform Category Marquees (In add-on pack) Nintendo Famicom Disk System (In add-on pack) These can be found in the seperate add-on pack. The background used is from the Color Logos Wallpaper created by thanks to for the use of the Playlist and Platform Category Marquees he created. I created a bunch of marquees to be used for platforms. A lit of you have helped me fill other holes in my collection. Thanks to everyone here for all your contributions. I'm new to LaunchBox so if I've done anything please just let me know, and I'll do my best to get it fixed. I neither possess the the skills, nor the Google time to fix the curve in the picture, but maybe someone else can clean it up? Most of the pics I found were no where near suitable for a banner pic, but this one was really damn close. The last pic in this collection is the nicest picture of the box art that I could find. The third is a minimalistic inspired approach to a banner pic using a hgreat close up photo I found while trying to find console pics for the first two. Two of these images are inspired by the art of the box in which the SUperGrafx was sold. Thought maybe someone else would appreciate them, so I posted them here. In a previous life I was a desktop publisher and had to wake up some old skills to make this happen. On CPS-1 boards you get that if the sound CPU is working and you get that with the black screen if the sound CPU is working, but the main CPU isn't.Ĭheck the program ROMs to make sure they are the correct type for the board.I'm doing my first LaunchBox set up, and I couldn't find any banner pics for the SuperGrafx that fit the default theme. When I power it on I get a black screen and some random music from the game, seems to be a random tune after each power cycle. I figure a picture is worth a thousand words, can anyone see anything obvious I have messed up here: When I got it I just erased everything and reprogrammed them.Īll the ROMs I am using are from the MAME rom "daimakair.zip" and I converted the gal image to a. The board came with all the mask roms already replaced with the eproms here. I got a board from another member here who was trying to do this. figured better to re-use this as some of the info I managed to find about this is from here.
